Terms of Service

By accessing or using StyleMCP ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

StyleMCP provides brand validation and content rewriting services for AI-generated text. The Service includes:

• API Access: RESTful endpoints for validation and rewriting
• MCP Server: Model Context Protocol integration
• CLI Tool: Command-line interface for local use
• Dashboard: Web interface for account management
• Style Packs: Pre-built and custom brand rule configurations

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible. Check our status page for real-time information.

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms.

• Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and account credentials
• Notification: You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities under your account
• One Account: Each person or entity may maintain only one free account

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use the Service for spam, harassment, or illegal content

5.1 Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for paying. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

5.2 Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. After that, payments are non-refundable. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your billing period.

5.3 Overages

If you exceed your plan limits, requests will be rejected with a 429 error until your quota resets. We do not charge overage fees; upgrade to a higher tier for more capacity.

6.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you submit for validation. We do not store validation content beyond the time required for processing. Your custom style packs remain your property.

6.2 Our Service

The Service, its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are owned by StyleMCP and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6.3 Open Source

The core StyleMCP validation engine is open source under the MIT license. See github.com/3DUNLMTD/stylemcp for license terms. This does not grant rights to our trademarks or hosted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StyleMCP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
• We may delete your account data within 30 days
• Provisions that by nature should survive will survive (liability, indemnification, etc.)

You may terminate your account at any time from account settings. We will delete your data upon request, subject to legal retention requirements.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StyleMCP and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, by email notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
